There’s still time to sign up for the Digital HSS session on ‘Culture shifts in research resources’: Clare Button and Rachel Hosker will explore the varied and surprising uses of archival resources within the University of Edinburgh Library. They will highlight specific examples from various collections ranging from art to animal genetics, discussing potential opportunities for exploring and interacting with both physical and digital resources. Case study examples will be provided on how social media, digitisation and user demand have revolutionised access, and some of the issues in curating and managing collections in a changing research landscape will be discussed.
Date: Friday 25th October
Venue: room 1.07 Main Library
Time: 12-2pm (lunch included)
